EQUIMEB® Hepa

Complementary feed for horses

Nutrient concentrate to support liver function

Equimeb Hepa® provides liver-supporting nutrients in increased concentrations to supplement daily crib feed rations. This allows horses to receive support for liver function, regardless of crib feed amount or type.

  • Liver-strengthening nutrient combination
  • To support liver cell regeneration
  • With milk thistle seeds and artichoke

NUTRIENTS FOR THE LIVER
The formation of new liver cells is favored by special substances from milk thistle seeds and the processing of fats in the liver is facilitated by bitter substances from the artichoke. The essential amino acids lysine and methionine are available as nutrient elements for cell regeneration.

FUNCTIONAL PROTECTIVE NUTRIENTS
Linseed, brewer's yeast, wheat bran and B vitamins promote a healthy intestinal environment, helping to reduce organ-damaging intestinal toxins. A key role in protecting organ cells against radical compounds is played by natural antioxidants, so-called OPCs from grape seeds, vitamin E, B vitamins, zinc, selenium, magnesium, as well as membrane-stabilizing essential fatty acids from linseed.

WHEN DO I FEED META DIET AND WHEN EQUIMEB® HEPA?
Equimeb® Hepa, as well as Meta-Diät provide the organism with nutrients that support liver function. Meta-Diät is a crib feed substitute and must be fed in larger amounts for sufficient organ functional nutrients to take effect, which is especially difficult to implement in boarding stables. In addition, for many horses, the crib feed ration must be drastically restricted due to light feeding or low workload, so that not enough Meta-Diät can be fed. For these cases Equimeb® Hepa is very well suited.

Offer approx. 10-20 g per 100 kg body weight and day with the crib feed.

Feeding advice:
This complementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 1.4 % of the daily ration (incl. hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.

Please follow the feeding recommendation.
