CAN BE USED IN A VARIETY OF WAYS
High-quality roughage of impeccable hygienic quality is not only the basis of horse nutrition, but also the perfect supplement to any crib feed ration. Whether for sport horses, leisure horses, breeding horses, young horses, senior horses or as “standing feed” – the right roughage supplement is essential.
HIGH-QUALITY ORGANIC PRODUCTS
The components of the GlyxWiese® Organic products come from a large agricultural region in Slovakia. In an area rich in fields and woodland, organic alfalfa and sainfoin are grown, harvested and gently hot-air-dried. The land is managed as part of diverse crop rotations, which also include the legumes alfalfa and sainfoin. Through their symbiosis with nodule-forming bacteria, legumes are able to fix nitrogen from the air and introduce it into the soil’s natural cycle. Furthermore, the flowering alfalfa and sainfoin crops also provide a source of food for butterflies, bees and other insects.
GlyxWiese ®® Organic Luzerne Cobs
GlyxWiese® Organic alfalfa cobs consist of 100 % whole alfalfa plants of pure organic quality. Suitable for all types of horse, they are a valuable source of protein, particularly for competition horses.
They act as a balancer for cereal-rich concentrated feed rations to balance the calcium-phosphorus ratio. Thanks to their optimised fibre length, our GlyxWiese Organic alfalfa pellets are ideal for horses with stomach problems. Leisure horses and senior horses that are fussy eaters also benefit from the balanced amino acid profile of alfalfa.
