CHAMPIONS CLAIM®

Complementary feed for horses

High-energy sports muesli of a special kind

Muscles are tense, sweat turns into white foam flakes and flared nostrils snort rhythmically in time with the movement – horses in demanding training and energy-sapping competition are true high-performance athletes. To ensure that the genetic potential of the well-trained sports partner can be fully exploited, we recommend our scientifically based feed concept – International Sports Champions Claim.

  • Nutrients for optimized muscle work
  • With natural vitamin E
  • With oils and oil fruits, free from herbs

SUCCESSFUL FEEDING
Champions Claim® was developed in cooperation with the renowned Kentucky Equine Research Institute (KER). The formula is based on research results that have proven themselves many times over at the Olympic Games as well as in racing and endurance riding.

THANKS TO RESEARCH FOR THE VICTORY
KER conducts research with the aim of improving the health and constitution of horses. Together with St. Hippolyt® as German partner, the high-performance feed Champions Claim was developed. It is based on a low-starch but high-fat and high-fiber concept that leads to a lower increase in muscle lactate and carbon dioxide production.

ONE PRODUCT – 3 APPLICATION VARIANTS

CHAMPIONS CLAIM®
Is ideally suited for the disciplines of dressage, jumping, eventing, western or driving, which require a mixed, aerobic-anaerobic muscle metabolism. In endurance or racing sports, the combination with oils or cereals can increase the fat or starch intake and thus be adapted to the respective muscle metabolism.

CHAMPIONS CLAIM + OIL
In endurance riding, endurance performance with high oxygen consumption is required. To avoid muscle overacidification, feeding in the low-glyc emic range with a limited supply of readily available carbohydrates is advantageous. For this purpose, Champions Claim® is fed together with high-quality oils, such as Hippo Linol .

CHAMPIONS CLAIM + CEREALS
For maximum performance on the racetrack, Champions Claim® is combined with cereals, such as C’Real Basics Dynamic. Highly soluble, readily available carbohydrates provide the energy for anaerobic muscle metabolism.

OUR RECOMMENDATION
Energy requirements exceeding this can be met with oats, C’Real Basics® products, Struktur-Energetikum, Hippo Linol® or GlyxWiese Luzerne Mix, depending on the type of load.

As a supplement to the basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass. From a quantity of approx. 500-700 g per 100 kg body weight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary. The total amount should be spread over several rations. In case of lower dosage or supply deficits, we recommend the addition of SemperMin® or MicroVital®.

1 litre corresponds to approx. 550 g

Feeding advice:
This complementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 46.7 % of the daily ration (incl. hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
Please follow the feeding recommendation.

Hipp Tip!
For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with teeth, chewing or gullet problems, we recommend enriching muesli with water or switching from muesli to pelleted feed, soaking it with sufficient water and feeding it as a mash.
Please be sure to keep your horse hydrated.
