Makor®
Complementary feed for horses
Loose with heart power
Loose and well-trained muscles are the basis of all equestrian disciplines. Specific nutrients such as magnesium and vitamin E are of particular importance for training success. Magnesium promotes muscle relaxation after contraction and supports the transmission of stimuli between nerve and muscle cells. Vitamin E improves oxygen supply to the cell for continuous performance.
- Highly dosed and highly bioavailable magnesium and vitamin E
- For loose muscles especially during training and competition season (doping-free)
- For tension, weather sensitivity and to compensate for increased nutrient requirements
RECOGNISING MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY
In phases of higher physical and mental stress, the requirement often quickly exceeds the supply from the basic feed ration. Horses in hard training periods or competitions, young horses in training, old horses and heavily pregnant mares are particularly often affected. Possible consequences of a nutritional deficiency are muscle tension and blockages up to muscle cramps as well as premature contractions in pregnant mares. More subtle signs such as anxiety, shortness of breath and tingling legs in connection with deficiency-related cardiovascular problems and resulting weather-related colic are also possible.
THE SOLUTION
Makor® quickly and reliably compensates for the increased nutrient requirement with highly bioavailable magnesium components and natural vitamin E. A selection of valuable herbs, such as circulatory-stabilising hawthorn, sensibly rounds off the formula. Magnesium controls muscle function and energy metabolism. Vitamin E improves the supply of oxygen to the cells. The need for these nutrients increases especially in phases of high physical and mental stress. Makor® has proven its worth in times of increased training intensity, during competitions, with tense, anxious horses, during stable or climate changes, weather sensitivity, listlessness, longer journeys, pregnancy or birth and in stress situations. Unbalanced horses react more calmly, tense horses become more rideable and weather-sensitive horses are more stable.
