Movicur® Connective Tissue Treatment

Complementary feed for horses

Dynamics and joy of movement

In recent years, it has become increasingly clear that an inadequate diet of functional micronutrients is a significant factor in the development of joint and tendon problems as well as general movement disorders. An effective supply of minerals, antioxidant vitamins and high-quality fatty acids as well as metabolically active herbs support the horse's mobility. Movicur® , which has been tried and tested for many years, offers a high-quality supplement for sport horses, young horses and older horses with its range of nutrients.

  • For the protection of tendons, ligaments & joints
  • Contains New Zealand green-lipped mussel, collagen building blocks & silicic acid
  • Rich in specific herbs, omega-3 fatty acids & antioxidants

THE SECRET OF THE GREEN-LIPPED MUSSEL
A key component of Movicur® the New Zealand green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) is of exceptional quality (Biolane®). According to marine scientists, the unique combination of nutrients in the New Zealand green-lipped mussel is based on interlinked biological functions. In addition to a special carbohydrate complex, specific long-chain fatty acids and characteristic enzymes have been found in the mussel. Biologists also refer to a third mechanism of action: mucopolysaccharides, also known as glycosaminoglycans. Protein-sugar compounds of this type are also produced by the body’s own cartilage cells. They help build cartilage tissue, to which they impart shock-absorbing and pressure-relieving properties, and are constantly synthesised and broken down during metabolism to meet the body’s changing needs. Furthermore, glycosaminoglycans play a role in the lubricating function of synovial fluid. If, as a result of injury or the ageing process, there is an increased need for these building blocks, a supportive diet promotes the body’s own synthesis of glycosaminoglycans.

EFFICIENT NUTRIENT BALANCE
The tried-and-tested, nutritious Movicur complex is created through the combination of New Zealand green-lipped mussel with other functional micronutrients derived from herbs, fermented brown millet and horsetail as sources of silicon, collagen-forming proteins, seaweed and a specialised supply of trace elements.. This provides the body with the ideal conditions for regenerating connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints naturally. Movicur® provides the body with the building blocks it needs to mobilise its own regenerative powers and helps to combat loss of elasticity. Movicur also contains Contains vitamin E, omega-3 fatty acids from mussels and linseed, and complex sugars from seaweed – natural substances that help protect the tissues of tendons, ligaments and joints.
