VITALITY IN OLD AGE
In old age, the demand for performance decreases and with it the need for energy from carbohydrates. Often, health problems limit the performance of older horses. In order for seniors to maintain their body substance and well-formed appearance, a specially adapted nutrient composition is required.

THE „ANTI-AGEING“ STRATEGY
High-quality fibres and herbs can compensate for nutrient deficiencies in roughage. Cold pressed oils in combination with a special variety of natural vital substance carriers and trace elements ensure an excellent nutrient density. A good prerequisite for counteracting age-related nutrient deficiencies that can lead to allergies, eczema, respiratory problems and digestive disorders. Vitalmüsli Beste Jahre^® is not only suitable for seniors, but also for sensitive and demanding horses as well as a "standing feed" against loss of substance.

OUR RECOMMENDATION
In the case of senior horses, a secure supply of roughage should be ensured and, if necessary, GlyxWiese Heucobs or GlyxWiese Seniorfaser should be added.
Vitalmüsli Beste Jahre^® is suitable for feeding lean horses of all ages.

Feeding recommendation

As a supplement to the basic feed supply with roughage and/or pasture grass. From a quantity of approx. 300-600 g per 100 kg body weight and day, no additional mineral feed is necessary. The total amount should be spread over several rations.
In case of lower dosage or supply deficits, we recommend the addition of SemperMin^® or MicroVital.

Feeding advice:
This complementary feed may only be fed to horses up to 40 % of the daily ration (incl. hay) due to the higher content of vitamins and trace elements compared to complete feeds.
Please follow the feeding recommendation.

Hipp Tip!
For older horses, hasty eaters or horses with teeth, chewing or gullet problems, we recommend enriching muesli with water or switching from muesli to pelleted feed, soaking it with sufficient water and feeding it as a mash.
Please be sure to keep your horse hydrated.
