Magnesium is an important co-factor for muscle and nerve function. It relaxes blood vessel walls and lowers blood pressure. In addition, magnesium counteracts the release of stress hormones and reduces the excitability of the nerves. Vitamin B12 is involved in the formation of the protective myelin layer of the nerves and in the regeneration of nerve cells. Passionflower and hops (in ADMR-compliant dosage) are known for their calming properties.
